About Me.
Hello, I’m Michaela, and thank you for being here!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I specialize in supporting individuals aged 10 and up who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. I am also Canadian Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (CC-PMH) and have a special interest in helping parents navigate the complex changes and emotions surrounding both perinatal and post-partum stage of life. My goal is to foster a collaborative therapeutic experience that promotes meaningful, lasting change. In my private practice, I strive to create a non-judgmental, compassionate space where clients can safely explore their emotions and thoughts.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that every individual has the inherent capacity for growth and self-healing. I aim to provide a safe, supportive environment that empowers clients to explore their experiences at their own pace, honouring their unique perspectives and values. Therapy, for me, is not about directing the client, but guiding them to uncover their own path toward healing and personal growth.
